Today I’m participating in Sam’s WWW Wednesdays. Here’s how it works:
The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next, and/or what are you eagerly awaiting?
***
I am still reading bits and pieces of America’s Queen, by Sarah Bradford, which is perched on my nightstand:
And…I am still reading this one:
Home, by Harlan Coben
Now I’m also reading:
Heartbreak Hotel (e-book), by Jonathan Kellerman
***
Books Finished Since Last Week: (Click Titles/Covers for My Reviews)
The Lying Game, by Ruth Ware
After She Fell, by Mary-Jane Riley
The Good Daughter, by Karin Slaughter
***
Eagerly Anticipating:
The Great Alone, by Kristin Hannah (February 6, 2018)
Blurb: Alaska, 1974.
Untamed.
Unpredictable.
And for a family in crisis, the ultimate test of the human spirit.
From the author who brought you the phenomenon of The Nightingale.
***
That’s what happened here this week. What adventures did you have?
***
I’ve spied the Kristen Hannah book too – looks good!

Ooh, a new Kristin Hannah – I’m looking forward to that as well. I hope she can live up to the massive expectations created by The Nightingale. I feel nervous for her and us as readers, lol.

The Good Daughter seems fantastic, love your review of it!

Thanks, Chloe, it is a somewhat hefty book (528 pages), but I didn’t notice, as I was so wrapped up in the book. It didn’t take long, either. Amazing, right? Thanks for visiting.

I really like the cover of After She Fell though I would guess everything isn’t as serene as the cover looks! You’ve got lots of great looking books here. Enjoy your reading this week!

I actually have yet to read The Nightingale! Though I have heard so many positive things about it….
I am glad to hear you enjoyed The Lying Game. It was rough going until Ibgot through the first 100 pages… I thought the build up was just so slow

As an unabashed Kennedy girl, I’ll be interested to hear how you feel about America’s Queen. (I admit I’m ambivalent.)

I’m a big fan of the Kennedys, too, Gal…my only complaint about the book so far is the very fine print! But I’m managing. Thanks for stopping by.

I enjoyed the Lying Game but, thought Ware’s first 2 books were better.

Yes! So did I, Diane…I was annoyed by the characters in The Lying Game and how they all followed along with whatever Kate wanted.
Plus…a game is not as intense and enticing as the creepy woods in the first book or the claustrophobia of a ship at sea in the second book!
Thanks for visiting, Diane. Good to see you!
