HUMP DAY READING…

Today I’m participating in Sam’s WWW Wednesdays Here’s how it works:

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next, and/or what are you eagerly awaiting?

CURRENTLY READING:

I am still reading bits and pieces of America’s Queen, by Sarah Bradford, which is perched on my nightstand:

And…I started two more books today:

Home, by Harlan Coben

Then I started The Lying Game, by Ruth Ware

EAGERLY ANTICIPATING:

Promise Not to Tell, by Jayne Ann Krentz -Release Date:  1/2/18

Synopsis:  A painter of fiery, nightmarish visions throws herself into the sea—but she’ll leave some of her secrets behind…

Seattle gallery owner Virginia Troy has spent years battling the demons that stem from her childhood time in a cult and the night a fire burned through the compound, killing her mother. And now one of her artists has taken her own life, but not before sending Virginia a last picture: a painting that makes Virginia doubt everything about the so-called suicide—and her own past.

Like Virginia, private investigator Cabot Sutter was one of the children in the cult who survived that fire…and only he can help her now. As they struggle to unravel the clues in the painting, it becomes clear that someone thinks Virginia knows more than she does and that she must be stopped. Thrown into an inferno of desire and deception, Virginia and Cabot draw ever closer to the mystery of their shared memories—and the shocking fate of the one man who still wields the power to destroy everything they hold dear.

I can never get enough of Krentz’s romantic suspense, so I will be watching the calendar for this release date.

What did your week look like?

  1. I have heard nothing but good things about The Lying Game, it is actually on my amazon wish list! I didn’t know the film Jackie was based off of a book, I loved Natalie Portman’s take on the former first lady so I definitely have to buy America’s Queen when I get the chance.
