Today I’m participating in Sam’s WWW Wednesdays. Here’s how it works:
The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next, and/or what are you eagerly awaiting?
***
I’ve decided on two books to be read concurrently: the first is a relatively new e-book from a favorite author: Any Day Now, by Robyn Carr, from the Sullivan’s Crossing Series.
The highly anticipated sequel to #1 New York Times bestselling author Robyn Carr’s What We Find transports readers back to Sullivan’s Crossing. The rustic campground at the crossroads of the Colorado and Continental Divide trails welcomes everyone—whether you’re looking for a relaxing weekend getaway or a whole new lease on life. It’s a wonderful place where good people face their challenges with humor, strength and love.
My second pick is a memoir that has been on my stacks since July 2014, but I was reminded of its presence and my desire to read it when I recently read another nonfiction book that spotlighted the Kennedy family…and in this case, also features the family of Jackie Kennedy’s sister Lee.
What Remains, by Carole Radziwill, a stunning, tragic memoir about John F. Kennedy Jr., his wife Carolyn Bissett, and his cousin Anthony Radziwill, by Radziwill’s widow, now a star of The Real Housewives of New York.

EAGERLY ANTICIPATING:
I am waiting for many books that will be released over the next few months, but this one, from an author I enjoy, was one I discovered yesterday. It will be released in March 2018.
The Flight Attendant, by Chris Bohjalian, is a powerful story about the ways an entire life can change in one night: A flight attendant wakes up in the wrong hotel, in the wrong bed, with a dead man – and no idea what happened.
Synopsis: Cassandra Bowden is no stranger to hungover mornings. She’s a binge drinker, her job with the airline making it easy to find adventure, and the occasional blackouts seem to be inevitable. She lives with them, and the accompanying self-loathing. When she awakes in a Dubai hotel room, she tries to piece the previous night back together, already counting the minutes until she has to catch her crew shuttle to the airport. She quietly slides out of bed, careful not to aggravate her already pounding head, and looks at the man she spent the night with. She sees his dark hair. His utter stillness. And blood, a slick, still wet pool on the crisp white sheets. Afraid to call the police – she’s a single woman alone in a hotel room far from home – Cassie begins to lie. She lies as she joins the other flight attendants and pilots in the van. She lies on the way to Paris as she works the first class cabin. She lies to the FBI agents in New York who meet her at the gate. Soon it’s too late to come clean-or face the truth about what really happened back in Dubai. Could she have killed him? If not, who did?

I am so excited about it, Deanna, and I sure hope I can get an ARC of it somewhere, as waiting until March sounds excruciating! LOL. Thanks for stopping by.

Thanks, Nicole, I am endlessly searching for more about the Kennedys, wishing we had someone from their family in the White House! Sigh.

Oh, I hope you love the Gilmore Girls. If you haven’t watched the reboot, you might want to do so before listening to the last section of the book, as there are details. Thanks for stopping by, Deanna.

I did, Michelle….and that doesn’t always happen. A sign of a good week for me is one with enjoyable reads, even if I’ve only read one or two books. Thanks for stopping by.

Ha-ha….I was going on and on in one of my comments about Robyn Carr’s new book coming soon…and I realized that I hadn’t yet read Any Day Now, and it was sitting patiently on my Kindle.
I also loved this book…and maybe I would have even listened to an audio version if Lauren Graham narrated it. I never listen to audio.
Thanks for visiting, Kristilyn…

I loved Robyn Carr’s Virgin River series and I’m wanting to read her Thunder Point series and several of her stand-alones. I tried reading the first book in the Sullivan’s Crossing series and couldn’t quite get into it, but I’ll definitely still try something else by her.

I’ve only read the first book in the Virgin River series and enjoyed it, and now these two in the Sullivan’s Crossing series, along with a stand-alone book she wrote. I’ve barely made a dent in her books, but I’m enjoying them so far. Thanks for stopping by, Kathryn.
