Today I’m participating in Sam’s WWW Wednesdays. Here’s how it works:
The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next, and/or what are you eagerly awaiting?
***
Currently Reading: The Family Gathering, by Robyn Carr, a very engaging library book in a series I am enjoying.
When all the Jones siblings gather for a family wedding, the four adults are drawn together for the first time in a way they never were as children. As they struggle to accept each other, warts and all, the true nature and strength of their bond is tested. But all of them come to realize that your family are the people who see you for who you really are and love you anyway. And for Dakota, that truth allows him to find the home and family he’s always wanted.

BOOKS FINISHED SINCE LAST WEEK (Titles/Covers Linked to My Reviews):
Bring Her Home (e-book), by David Bell
Surprise Me (e-book), by Sophie Kinsella (a library book)
***
EAGERLY ANTICIPATING:
I’ve had my eye on Those Other Women for a while, and now it is available. The author, Nicola Moriarty, is a younger sister to two other favorite authors, Liane and Jaclyn Moriarty.
Synopsis: Overwhelmed at the office and reeling from betrayals involving the people she loves, Poppy feels as if her world has tipped sideways. Maybe her colleague, Annalise, is right—Poppy needs to let loose and blow off some steam. What better way to vent than social media?
With Annalise, she creates an invitation-only Facebook group that quickly takes off. Suddenly, Poppy feels like she’s back in control—until someone begins leaking the group’s private posts and stirring up a nasty backlash, shattering her confidence.
Feeling judged by disapproving female colleagues and her own disappointed children, Frankie, too, is careening towards the breaking point. She also knows something shocking about her boss—sensitive knowledge that is tearing her apart.
As things begin to slide disastrously, dangerously out of control, carefully concealed secrets and lies are exposed with devastating consequences—forcing these women to face painful truths about their lives and the things they do to survive.

I guess good weeks should not be measured in how many books we read. I am trying to get that in my head!

Thanks, Patty, and yes, sometimes a good week is one that is balanced….and with books we savor, even if we only read one or two. Enjoy!

Oooh, looking at your review for Surprise Me now! Sophie Kinsella is normally one of my auto read authors, but I feel like she’s been slipping lately, although I have heard good things about Surprise Me. Have you read My (Not So) Perfect Life? I’ve heard mixed things about it
Also three sisters being authors sounds awesome, and I am so here for that. That summary sounds interesting, too.
IDK if we’ll have any reading taste crossover on my www weds for this week, but just in case mine is here: https://rlprotagonist.wordpress.com/2018/06/27/wwwweds-dinos-poirot-clinton/

This sounds like it’s a whole topic in itself – literary siblings/families.
