Good morning, and welcome to our first Saturday Snapshot of 2011, hosted by Alyce, At Home With Books.
Today, I’m sharing another one from my eldest son Craig’s repertoire of European images (Berlin Photographer). This photo of a street lamp resonates with me, as I conjure up all kinds of metaphors for it, like “lighting the way” in the New Year.
I hope you all have a wonderful New Year, and please stop by and share your own links.
That kind of streetlamp always makes me think of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Neat photo!

Fantastic perspective on the shot. Makes me imagine a Victorian melodrama.
