Tuesday is one of my favorite days of the week! Why? It’s NEW RELEASES DAY!
This fact was not known to me for a long while, and then I caught on. There was a pattern in the release dates for books I was eagerly awaiting.
I have a little notebook in which I list the upcoming releases…and their dates. I also bookmark them on Amazon, but sometimes they disappear off of my list…so I have to go searching. That’s where the notebook comes in handy.
Today’s releases, which I promptly downloaded (I know, curb the impulse!) are:
The Night the Lights Went Out, by Karen White…
From the New York Times bestselling author of the Tradd Street series comes a stunning new novel about a young single mother who discovers that the nature of friendship is never what it seems….
Recently divorced, Merilee Talbot Dunlap moves with her two children to the Atlanta suburb of Sweet Apple, Georgia. It’s not her first time starting over, but her efforts at a new beginning aren’t helped by an anonymous local blog that dishes about the scandalous events that caused her marriage to fail….
…In a town like Sweet Apple, where sins and secrets are as likely to be found behind the walls of gated mansions as in the dark woods surrounding Merilee’s house, appearance is everything. But just how dangerous that deception can be will shock all three women….
My other pick today:
The Widow of Wall Street, by Randy Susan Meyers…
A provocative new novel by bestselling author Randy Susan Meyers about the seemingly blind love of a wife for her husband as he conquers Wall Street, and her extraordinary, perhaps foolish, loyalty during his precipitous fall.
Next Tuesday, I’m waiting for this one:
Any Day Now, by Robyn Carr….
The highly anticipated sequel to #1 New York Times bestselling author Robyn Carr’s What We Find transports readers back to Sullivan’s Crossing. The rustic campground at the crossroads of the Colorado and Continental Divide trails welcomes everyone—whether you’re looking for a relaxing weekend getaway or a whole new lease on life. It’s a wonderful place where good people face their challenges with humor, strength and love.
And, over at Bookfan, enjoy this great review…
Every day of the week has something special to anticipate in my blogging/reading life. What do you love about Tuesdays? Or any of the other days?
