Over the years, I have moved from place to place, and whenever I live anywhere for more than a short time, I change things around. The sofa above was in my little office/guest room, from 2007 to 2019…but this version was the last one before I moved.
Here is another view of the room’s last version.
When I first moved in, everything in this office was quite different…and even pretty crowded. I had to search a bit to find some of those photos. As I look at them, below, I see that they weren’t that pretty. Sigh. In these versions, the sofa was on a different wall, and my desk area was crowded into the space. In the closet area, I had stashed some dolls, a bookcase, and a filing cabinet.
Then I moved items around, with my granddaughter’s help. Primarily I wanted it to be more user-friendly as an office…and for guests. Too bad I didn’t make the changes before they arrived. By the time I started making the changes, they were long gone!
Note: Some rearranged areas:
Of course, I moved from that condo in 2019, and lived in a studio apartment for a while. Now I am in another apartment, and my bedroom serves as my new office. I have an old “hall tree” for hanging my purses, and my desk area has its own niche at the foot of the bed.
