TUESDAY POTPOURRI: THE GIFTS OF NEW BOOKS…

Good morning on this great new Tuesday, a day to reflect on new releases!

I already received two new books that I had pre-ordered, and I am always so delighted to open my Kindle upon these “gifts.”

House of Correction, by Nicci French

“This house of correction is booby-trapped with twists, the floors paved with trapdoors, quicksand churning in the garden. Enter if you dare.” –A.J. Finn, #1 New York Times bestselling author of The Woman in the Window

Then I was delighted to find another book from a favorite author…and while it was not a surprise, since I had pre-ordered it, I had forgotten that it was arriving today!

I’ll Be Seeing You, by Elizabeth Berg

The beloved New York Times bestselling author tells the poignant love story of caring for her parents in their final years in this beautifully written memoir.

Then I discovered another new release that came out today, one I was not aware of, so I have bookmarked it on Amazon.  Should I download it now?  What do you think?

Love Your Life, by Sophie Kinsella

From the #1 New York Times bestselling author of I Owe You One, an utterly delightful novel about a woman who ditches her dating app for a writer’s retreat in Italy—only to find that real love comes with its own filters

Then I downloaded an Amazon Prime freebie that looks really good:

Girls of Brackenhill, by Kate Moretti

I am still immersed in Invisible Girl, and almost finished.  A book I am loving!

What has your week/day been like so far?

Please leave your thoughts. Comments, not awards, feed my soul. Thanks!
