Good morning, and welcome to another chapter in my Book Hoarding Journey…otherwise known as Book Release Tuesday.
A new book is headed my way today:
The Truth Will Set You Free, But First It Will Piss You Off, by Gloria Steinem
A beautifully illustrated collection of Gloria Steinem’s most inspirational and outrageous quotes, with an introduction and essays by the feminist activist herself…
I ordered the hardcover version, hoping to find photos along with the essays.

Currently I’m reading Ladies Who Punch: The Explosive Inside Story of “The View,” by Ramin Setoodeh.

I have quite a stack of hardcover books on my nightstand, and I realize that many are nonfiction, which seems perfect for the upcoming Nonfiction November event.
In the meantime, as I get ready for my rescheduled surgery and fight the cold that seems to be creeping up on me, I am also binge watching the fifth season of The Affair, and just finished Season II of The Kominsky Method, with Michael Douglas, Alan Arkin, etc. Love that show!

What events/adventures/books are calling to you this week?

Fight that cold. Ah some great NF books, those two you mention look very readable.

Thanks, Kathryn, I’m taking my Zicam, drinking fluids (lots of tea!), and staying in my apartment.
I haven’t had a cold in several years, so I’m learning how to take care of myself again. I think residential living might have led to this cold!
I got the Gloria Steinem book yesterday.
Enjoy your week.

Yes for sure more bugs around when there are lots of people. I think I got every cold going when I was a teacher and have built up good immunity!!

Ken and I are binge-watching The Kominsky Method, Season 2 right now! Oh, how I love that show. When we finish, we’ve decided we’ll watch Season 1 and then Season 2 all over again. So good!
Your reading sounds terrific–My words of wisdom. Indulge, indulge, indulge.
The only way to go. Best wishes!

Thanks, Judith, I love the idea of watching both seasons again. Maybe it’s me being older now, but the stories and situations really resonate.
I also love Michael Douglas and Nancy Travis.
Enjoy!
