TUESDAY POTPOURRI: EAGERLY ADDING TO MY SHELVES…

Good morning, all!  It’s Tuesday, and you know what that means.  Yes, new book releases.

Of course I had to preorder one book…and then when I perused the list, I downloaded another.  What great reading lies ahead!

Here are my book gifts to myself today:

Takes One to Know One, by Susan Isaacs

Always sassy, smart, and wickedly witty, Susan Isaacs is at her formidable best in a novel that is both bitingly wry and ominously thrilling.

The Lying Room, by Nicci French

I was a big fan of the Nicci French series featuring Frieda Klein, so I’m excited about the possibilities in this new stand-alone book.

One little secret between a married woman, her lover, and a killer.

In this thrilling standalone from the internationally bestselling author of the Frieda Klein series, a married woman’s affair with her boss spirals into a dangerous game of chess with the police when she discovers he’s been murdered and she clears the crime scene of all evidence.

More preordered books will arrive in late October and early November…I will share them toward the end of the month.

Meanwhile, I have lovely books already on my shelves, and hope to finish The Murder List, by Hank Phillippi Ryan, later today.

What are you adding to your shelves today?  What books are you eagerly anticipating in the weeks ahead?

  1. I simply adore the photo of your BED! I love sinking into deep beds. I bring my laptop, I work, do everything, etc. Who needs a desk?
Interested in your reading. Looking forward to these books, too! Do report your thoughts on each one! I’ll be listening….
