Good morning! It is Sunday, and I’m loving the blog visiting…and also enjoyed streaming The Good Fight again.
Yesterday was routine errands, including bloodwork, followed by a delicious breakfast. Then…last night as I watched Collateral on Netflix, I got that restless feeling. You know the one! Looking around, I could see how my room could be rearranged.
I am limited to what I can move: the bed stays put, of course, and so do the bookshelves because of all the books! But I did move a bench from the living room (it was in front of the bookshelves there), and now it is at the foot of the bed. A chair is in the spot where the loveseat once lived.
And then I moved odds and ends from other parts of the room, like little shelves (above), and tweaked one of my shelves, below:
And when I watch TV/BluRay, I see these changes:
When you enter the room, you’ll see more space by the exercise bicycle:
And here is the loveseat from the bedroom in its new/old home:
Then I moved two chairs around…again. A switcheroo between office and bedroom chairs.
I am reading The New Neighbors now…almost finished!
And I just got an e-mail saying I have a new library book! One that has been on hold:
Every Note Played, by Lisa Genova
From neuroscientist and New York Times bestselling author of Still Alice comes a powerful exploration of regret, forgiveness, freedom, and what it means to be alive.
I’m loving how regularly these “holds” appear! Almost no waiting on some, and the others will soon follow, like a well-oiled machine.
What does your weekend look like?
