After nice chats with two of my sons, one in person and one by phone, I took off to the library, where I found two books I’ve been wanting to read.
I read an Andre Dubus III book this past week, and years ago, I read House of Sand and Fog. Now I have The Garden of Last Days.

I plead ignorance for not having read The House of Sand and Fog? Is this a sequel or stand alone novel? Thanks for the tip.

Oh, it is definitely a stand-alone novel, but probably the most well-known by this author, since it was an Oprah pick a few years ago (when she was doing that on her show). It was also made into a movie starring Ben Kingsley and Jennifer Connelly. A movie that I watch over and over…Thanks for stopping by, Rita.

Ooh…I love the word boudoir…I am imagining you with slip on slippers with kitten heels and furry puff balls! And a robe…silky and flowy! A mimosa next to you and one of these books!

Yes, I like the images conjured up by that word…it brings to mind all the things you mentioned…a boa, too, perhaps. LOL
I used to have silky robes….I need to get another one! But definitely a mimosa nearby would be the way to go. Thanks for the ideas, Patty!
