SUNDAY POTPOURRI: TAKING A BREAK FROM THE LIST — JUNE 22

Welcome to another Sunday Potpourri, a day to ponder the tidbits, treasures, and obsessions in life.

Check out my Sunday Updates here, to see what my week looked like.  I reached an important point in my reading journey this week:  I JUST COMPLETED MY 100TH READ!  My reading challenge for the year is for 200 books, so I’m halfway there.

Yesterday, I took a break for brunch, at one of my favorite neighborhood restaurants:  Mimi’s Cafe.

I took a book, and what a glorious read it was:  Looking for Me, by Beth Hoffman, was my 100th read.  Click for my review.

This week, I changed up the list of books to read…and I’m glad I did.  I picked up this last book instead of A Widow’s Story, which is coming next.  I also added Secrets from the Past to last week’s reading.

I don’t often veer from my “charted course” for the week, but after the first book of the week, I had to take a break from what I’d planned.  Do you ever do that?  Doesn’t it feel great?

What did your week look like?  The Glass Wives is on next week’s list for me.

    • I’m glad that I’m not stuck on the idea that I must read the older books first….lol; I’m eager to delve into The Glass Wives. Hope you love Looking for Me. Thanks for stopping by, Patty.
