Here we are, halfway through the first week of the New Year.
On this Hump Day, as I was meandering around my various blogs, I came back to this one. The last of my Word Press blogs (other than Chocolate & Mimosas) that doesn’t have a new theme. Perhaps you’ve noticed that I’ve been “dressing” my blogs in the Adventure Theme, one by one.
I like the nice big header space…and the wide columns. I like three columns, but in some themes, the columns are narrow.
So I went for it!
Speaking of changes—or expanding my horizons—I’ve been keeping my eye out for books by authors I haven’t yet tried, or authors I haven’t read in awhile. Like this one I saw this morning:
Rainshadow Road, by Lisa Kleypas, is a story set in Friday Harbor. The setting alone had me drooling.
And here’s another, by an author I haven’t read in a long while.
Forever, by Judy Blume, looks like another good one for this New Year.
What blog changes or book choices are grabbing your attention during this first week of the year? Do you think of a new year as an opportunity to change? What changes do you want to make this year?
