Happy New Year!
Yesterday, I rearranged a few of my “treasures,” and, as predicted, I readjusted them again last night.
So at my front door, these “friends” greet you. They once took up residence on my sofa table, but I needed a new look.
I realize that the bench on my hall tree is probably a place to sit down and put on boots, or something, but instead, it’s always been a site for my dolls, bears, etc.
On your right, you can catch a glimpse of a chair and ottoman…that’s where I actually put on my boots!
Today I’m enjoying a leisurely meander around the blogosphere, along with reading Balancing Acts, by Zoe Fishman, a fun look at some NY singles who meet up at a Yoga studio. And then form lasting friendships.
Then I’m off to pick up granddaughter Fiona, to hang out, visit a bookstore, have lunch, and whatever else we dream up….
Here’s a fairly recent picture of her…wonder what version I’ll see today?
So now I’m going back to my book for awhile. It’s still early….maybe I can even ride my exercise bike for awhile during my read. Nah…I think I’ll pass on that one. It’s a holiday!
Hope you all have a wonderful two days of holiday. Be safe! Have fun!
