TRADITIONS & THE PASSAGE OF TIME

What a Difference a Few Years Makes: 2008 and 2010

During the holidays, there are opportunities for family and friend connections.

Over at Snow Connections today, I’ve featured some photos of a family gathering that has become a tradition for a few years.

As I scrolled through my photo collections here, I noticed how each holiday celebration showcases the changes in the kids.  Naturally, you might say.  But now that they’re older, their personalities really come forth, replacing the somewhat stiff poses.

Here are a few from the past:

This one was from our old “venue,” The Spaghetti Factory, and captured the holiday moments of 2005.

I liked this venue because of the big tree that was featured even on the Thanksgiving weekend.  But we all wanted to stretch a bit and change the menu, so for the past few years, we have gone to the California Pizza Kitchen.

But before we did that, we had one year at Dai Bai Dang, and the kids climbed up into Santa’s Sleigh.

Then the next year, we moved our celebration.

This year, we returned to CPK.

Waiting for the Food

I’m curious as to what will happen next!

Do you have special holiday traditions? For years (in the past), my family also had special moments at this sculptured piece situated at the university campus.
