The Unexpected Beauty of Ruins -- Beelitz Sanitarium near Berlin

Craig Robinson, Berlin Photographer

Our Saturday event is hosted by Alyce, At Home With Books. You, too, can join in.

I’m really enjoying this moment in the week when we can share favorite photos and visit other blogs to see what’s out there.

Photography has always held a special place in my life, even though I’m hardly a pro.  My oldest son is, though, and I’ve spotlighted a few of his in this event.

Today I’m going out of my comfort zone to share some of mine, as well as his.

And now for those same two girls, as teens:

I am now excited to see what the rest of you are spotlighting.  I hope you’ll stop by and share.

  1. Great family snapshots- they look like a sweet bunch of kids 🙂 And the ‘unexpected beauty of ruins’ is truly just that. I love how photographs can sometimes capture the beauty (or symmetry, or color, or form) in things that you otherwise might not notice.

Please leave your thoughts. Comments, not awards, feed my soul. Thanks!
