Good morning, and welcome to Thursday Potpourri, in which I talk about an assortment of thoughts and feelings. Sort of the definition of potpourri.
First I finished a book that really took me outside myself and into the midst of a family struck by grief and worn down a bit by life’s moments; here’s my review of The World Without You.
I’m now reading a book that’s been on my stacks for a LONG time, and not because I didn’t want to read it. Have you seen my stacks? lol
However, in the past few months, I’ve reorganized them and brought them “forward,” if you will. They’re now on my office coffee table so they won’t get as lost in the shuffle. That’s my hope.
The Tender Bar is one I’ve just begun, but I love bars, so I’m betting I’ll enjoy this one…a lot. A poignant memoir about what a particular bar meant to the author.
And then I’ve been over at Snow Sparks, posting about the theme of the day and responding to a prompt about whether I’m an introvert or an extrovert. Check it out!
That might seem like a question with an obvious answer for someone who reads, writes, and interacts online. Which one would you be?
I’ll leave you with this favorite image that I found on Pinterest…..

I want to be right there with you!!!
Isn’t that a fabulous spot? I’ve been showcasing it here and there all week! lol
Thanks for visiting, Patty, and enjoy your weekend.
