Here we are! Online buddies—from Amazon, Goodreads, Facebook and more…we met for the first time yesterday.
Well, at least the three of us met for the first time; Betty and Linda (center and right) had met last year already. So I was the new one to the party!
And what a party it was! Lunch, followed by a gab fest like you’d never imagine, finding out that online communicating for a long time CAN really establish the foundation upon which to build a unique friendship.
Betty is a Californian, just as I am, but Linda traveled all the way from Maine! And, from what I can tell, she will continue making this journey.
I certainly hope to join them as we launch a special friendship connection.
Ah-hhh, RAINY DAY, this is such a sweet little reminder of the wonderful day we had together when you ventured over from Fresno to my home in Manteca to meet Linda and me while she was my guest for a week in September.
Yep, this is her second trip all the way from Maine to see me…and your first time from not so far away… lol
She will be coming again in September, so you must join us and stay longer next time. Like Linda, I feel like I have known you forever. SEE, SKEPTICAL WORLD, nice people can be found on the Net…

I must say, you all look great and happy in the pictures. You are my 3 favorite sophisticated ladies (and certainly the most intelligent). So glad you all got together. Where was my invite? LOL.
